What fish can I catch?
Our guests often catch snook, tarpon, redfish, shark, tripletail, grouper, ladyfish, jack, seatrout and Spanish mackerel. Captain Patrick will lead you to the spots where you’re likely to catch the best fish at different times of the day or year.
Can I keep the fish I catch?
We encourage you to release the fish you catch, but if you want to keep them, Captain Patrick will clean them for you and put them in bags with ice.
Where can I fish?
We can take you to inshore and nearshore waters around Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island, Boca Grande, and the Caloosahatchee River.
What’s included?
We’ll provide everything you need to catch fish—fishing gear, tackle, bait, and a cooler with ice. You’ll get expert guidance from Captain Patrick, and he’ll help clean and bag any fish you want to keep. Read more about Captain Patrick’s fishing experience.
Do I need a fishing license?
No, you’re covered by Captain Patrick’s license.
How many people can I bring?
Our boat can accommodate 1-4 guests. If your party is larger, we’ll use multiple boats.
Can I bring the family?
Of course! All ages are welcome.
Do I need any fishing experience?
Not at all! Captain Patrick is a friendly teacher, so even complete beginners have a great time learning to catch fish with us! If you have previous fishing experience, you’ll enjoy our quality gear and local expertise.
What should I wear?
We recommend a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, polarized sunglasses, a rain jacket (in the summer), and tennis shoes or boat shoes. Please don’t wear shoes with dark soles, as they leave marks on the boat.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, bottled water, and snacks are the three most important things. You may also want to bring a camera, insect repellent, and motion sickness pills if you need them.
Does your boat have a restroom?
No, but we’ll usually be within 15 minutes of a restroom.

When do your fishing charters start?
Morning fishing charters usually start 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m., depending on the tide and time of year. Afternoon charters start at 12:30 p.m.
Where do your charters depart from?
We have multiple departure locations to choose from, including Punta Rassa in Fort Myers, The Green Flash on Captiva, and Pineland Marina on Pine Island. See a map of our locations.

Canceling Early
If you cancel more than 24 hours before your reservation, we'll issue a refund less a $75 deposit.
