Captain Patrick Ewald

Captain Patrick Ewald is a full-time, U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain with 30 years of experience fishing in Southwest Florida. He loves to share his passion for fishing and shelling with people of all ages and experience levels. When he’s not captaining a chartered fishing boat, he’s gathering accolades in a fishing tournament or being featured in publications like Onshore Offshore Magazine.

Southwest Florida is Captain Patrick’s home, so he knows the local bait and fish that make their homes around oyster bars, mangrove islands, creek mouths, and grass flats. He loves to put this expertise to good use by helping people just like you have a great time on the water.

Whether you’re a beginner or an avid angler, Captain Patrick will guide you to the best fishing spots in 100 square miles, equip you with the right tackle, and be ready to provide as much help as you need to catch a big one.

Caloosa Charters works directly with a number of other U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains. If Captain Patrick isn’t available on your chosen date, we can put you into the good hands of another experienced guide who will show you a wonderful day on the water.
